Rocketship State If Mind

"Rocketship State of Mind" is a powerful dance ballad that speaks to rising above the adversity of domestic abuse and human trafficking. As the first single from Dion’s forthcoming album, the song was co-written by Dion, along with his mother Christine White, and Grammy award winner Tiffany Fred (“Invisible”, Jennifer Hudson). The song was produced by Grammy award winning producer Philip Larson (Mixer, Kylie Minogue). Dion and his mother wrote the lyrics for the song, drawing upon the time they spent in a shelter for domestic abuse victims. Dion’s music success was defined with the release of his single “Maybe” in Canada. “Maybe” charted on CHR radio stations and dance charts across the country, and appeared on numerous best-selling dance compilation albums. The song propelled Dion onto the Canadian Dance Music Scene. His follow-up single, “Magic,” was equally as successful, having earned Dion a Canadian East Coast Music Award nomination.
