REMIXES BY JERRY ROPERO • RUSS RICH • LEO FRAPPIER • ANDY ALLDER San Francisco-based house DJ Russ Rich, a Minnesota native, has been a life-long Prince fan, even working at Paisley Park Studios for two years in the mid-90s. So when Prince passed, he knew he wanted to do a project that would honor the legendary musician. ‘A Love Bizarre’ by Russ Rich ft. Debby Holiday is that love letter to Prince. A duet, originally sung by Sheila E and Prince, Rich immediately knew there was no-one better suited to deliver both the Shelia E and Prince vocals then the incomparable Debby Holiday. He then approached two of his favorite sound engineers - Andy Allder to work with on a late-night “Afterhours” mix, and Leo Frappier, to produce a Peak-time main room club mix. Both mixes are featured on the first EP along with a Jackin' House remix by the legendary house producer Jerry Ropero. A second Remix EP package also available.
