Love Poem

Taking previous released material and giving it a new twist isn’t exactly new to Funkstar De Luxe. But this time he went back over a century and found a poem by American writer Emily Dickinson (1830-1886). By adding an energetic and funky backing track Funkstar De Luxe takes the poem to the dancefloor while showing his love of melodies and electronic retro sounds. On the remix duty Funkstar De Luxe teams up with longtime music buddy Thomas Wind. The duo debuted as PDQ (Pretty Darn Quick) in the nineties on Hypnotic Records. After a 20-year break the two are back together on a bass-driven funky remix of Love Poem.
